It's always an honor when you can get your photo on page 1 of the magazine. Felix Georgii who is one of the most stylish riders around, hit this wall around 20 times for us to get just the exact shot we both wanted. I had the angle down and knew from when I shot the first frame this had a possibility of being a cover. I never told Felix this at the time but I had a good feeling if we could connect on a good one it had a chance. One major thing was we wanted to make sure his foot planting the wall was extended and not to bent when touching the wall. If his leg was to bent it would not have looked much like a foot plant and more like a foot drag. Luckily it all worked out and I never got landed on and we ended up with the May issue of Alliance Wake Mag. I will be posting more from my trip to Australia which is featured in this issue in the coming weeks with behind the scenes on photos and layouts from the feature.
